Basic Safeguarding Adults and Children training
We are increasingly being asked to deliver a basic session covering both safeguarding of children and adults. This training session has not been validated.
You can also view their feedback here. The recommended timing would be a 3.5 hour but this can be discussed with each individual agency.
THIS TRAINING CAN BE DELIVERED VIA ZOOM OR FACE TO FACE.
Who should attend?
This course is a “must” for all those who work or volunteer directly with children, young people, and/ or their families and adults at risk of harm. It is carefully designed to ensure your staff know everything they need to from having a concern, confidentiality, recording and referring to your seniors.
What will the session involve?
· we will look at local safeguarding procedures;
· identify the relevant legislation and guidance;
· Logging and reporting of concerns;
· Internet safety.
What will you gain from it?
Costs
As a rough idea for a standard 3.5 hour training session with one trainer you would be expected to pay around £112.50. These costs do not include travel time and mileage. If the travel time exceeds 3 hours then the quote may need to include an overnight stay. The costs are per session. Ideally there should a minimum of 6 attendees.
