What prompted you to request my training?
We have previously used Angela for our safeguarding training, the training was well laid out and very interactive, staff enjoyed both sessions. The key takeaways and skills your team gained. An understanding of what safeguarding is and signs to look out for Your overall satisfaction with the training delivery and support. 10/10 – defiantly use again for future training. The Ferry Project 2025 Angela delivered the training session on basic safeguarding for adults to members of our Brampton Good Neighbour Scheme using the Safeguarding Toolbox. Not only was Angela extremely professional and knowledgeable, but she provided the training on a Saturday morning because that was the best time for our volunteers to be available. Angela quickly gained our attention and confidence, and conducted the training in a manner that was very appropriate to her audience, prompting good, involved debate and feedback. The Safeguarding Toolbox training session on basic safeguarding for children and adults delivered by Angela was just what was wanted and covered a lot in a short space of time. This was an introductory session for our volunteers from all over the country. Angela very quickly engaged their interest and maintained this throughout. There was lots of discussion and opportunities to reflect on different aspects of safeguarding. It really made people think and question, as well as giving the volunteers more confidence in their peer support roles. It was also useful in prompting us as an organisation to look at our policies again.

The Wildlife Trust BCN have been using Angela to deliver all our safeguarding courses. Angela always provides an excellent support for us and is somebody we can always go to if we have any queries. 
Angela is very professional, and committed to provide first class training for Safeguarding Children and Adults.
She delivers a hard-hitting subject in a knowledgeable and confident way, allowing interaction in the group as well as opportunities to ask questions throughout. The attendees all reported that the session was informative, confidently delivered and that they all came away more aware of signs to be aware of , as well as identifying risks, when working with groups of Children and Adults. I have no hesitation in recommending The Safeguarding Toolbox to our members for further, and on-going, training. 
Angela has worked jointly with East Cambridgeshire District Council to develop a corporate basic safeguarding training package. Her knowledge of the subject has been invaluable. The Council has now received confirmation that the training has been validated by the Local Safeguarding and Children’s Board and we have now rolled the training out to all employees. Angela not only supported development of the training, she has now also delivered this training to 184 staff in the subject and our evaluation indicates positive feedback from those who attended these sessions
Safeguarding Toolbox provides us with expert advice when required and delivers workshops for CCVS on Safeguarding Adults and Safeguarding Children and Young People. Angela’s courses are consistently rated as ‘Excellent’ or ‘Good’ by those attending. |
Cruse is a Charity organisation which runs a small team of volunteers who support Children and Young People suffering from Bereavement. It is vital that we have Children's Safeguarding Training as the children we see are already very vulnerable. I had been struggling to find an Organisation who could deliver this training at a reasonable cost (as we are a Charity) and at a time that the whole team could be present. Angela agreed to come to our Supervision Group and work with the room and equipment that we had at our disposal. The Training was extremely well delivered and informative. Angela managed to get the important message across without making us all feel it was too onerous a responsibility. I am sure we all left feeling more confident and better equipped to deal with a difficult situation we would all rather not have to think about. 
we invited Angela from the Safeguarding Toolbox to deliver training in 'Safeguarding Children' to museum volunteers responsible for front of house, tours, school visits and events. The training was well planned and administrated. Volunteers commented on Angela's extensive knowledge and experience as well as her friendliness and approachability. Everyone who took part has completed the course with more confidence and new ideas for making the museum a safer, more enjoyable environment for both visitors and volunteers.
